9 times fall asleep 8 times weak up (Sunset Haiku)

1.
Starless night.
Heavy
my eyes are.
2.
Two worlds
are claiming
my soul.
3.
Shadow - one world
dawn
in another.
4.
Purgatory is
my own
dream.
5.
The effort
to not sleep's
failing.
6.
What if tomorrow
never
comes?
7.
The door
is now open -
I fell asleep.
8.
My cream's
silent.
I can't weak up.
9.
Salvation's
behind
my dream's door.

Nine Simple Thoughts (Sunset Haiku)

1.
It's the simplest
thing
most important.
2.
Simply breathing
can take away
pain.
3.
One baby's smile
can revive
weary soul.
4.
The tornadoes's
centre holds
the peace.
5
Never talent only
can bring
success.
6.
One sees the future
reading
the past.
7.
One finds peace
at home
if one has it.
8.
Leave all word's
worries
outside your home.
9.
Life is contentious
with a fatal
end...

"Knowledge is the greatest of luxuries" (Sunset Haiku)

"Knowledge is the greatest of luxuries"
                                         Steve Berry
                         (The Templar Legacy)
1.
The knowledge
runs quick
when we are young.
2.
Natural learning's
flowing
with us.
3.
Quick learning-
quick knowledge
is lost.
4.
When forceful’s
knowledge -
it gives bad fruits.
5.
Knowing
means not
understanding.
6.
Understand
what you know
then act.
7.
When power -
the knowledge's
corrupt.
8.
From the East
came knowledge
to the West.
9.
But when
we depart
all knowledge is gone.

Nero’s dream

The flames are liking
starless heavens,
smoke’s devouring
city’s flesh.

A mad men’s dream
of old Rome blazing –
people perished
in their dreams.

Torches flying,
people shrieking,
watching silent –
gods above.

“Torch it all!”
the Caesar’s screaming,
“Let the fire
cleanse this hole!”

The purple dawn
is slowly creeping,
above the charred
city walls.

The Caesar’s tired,
in peace he’s  sleeping,
the Gods are calm - they never sleep.

Demon

But only in the middle of the night
the demon comes to claim
more peaces of my bleeding soul and eat them;

With fingers cold,
like in a supermarket,
he touches and he picks
the freshest pieces on display.

And as the owner
silently, in horror watches –
the demon steals, devours and wipes his mouth…
and then he’s gone!

In my dream I try to scream, I try to stop him;
I have no voice, no lips,
no arms, no will remaining of my own;

already gone – they have been stolen –
the demon took them;
and now is using parts of me
to rob me of my soul.

Bitter-Sweet, Vulnerable Haiku

***
Bitter-sweet
bits haiku
on my cheeks.

***
Your bright eyes
shine,
I am elated.

***
Brisk snow
flew over dark peaks.
I am sad…

***
When matter wins –
the moon’s
just a rock.

***
Love’s winning –
The moon’s
Inspiration.

***
Mindfulness
is a sea…
we sail on.

***
Jumping frail rabbit
my poor
heart is.

“There are worse prisons than words” (A Sunset Haiku)

“There are worse prisons than words”
           Carlos Ruiz Zafon
       (The shadow of the wind)
1
Once words were stones
thrown at me
just to hurt me.
2
Words can bring
more pain than
all weapons.
3
Words freeze
the water when
one’s thirsty.
4
Ten “I hate you”
are less
than one “I love you”.
5
Hateful word
make young souls
take their souls.
6
Words are thoughts first.
Before that –
nothing…
7
Words will harm
as one would
allow them.
8
Let no harmful
words
to harm you.
9
Imagine a tongue
with good words
only…

The unsatisfactoriness of our sensory experiences

All perceptions
could deliver
is a constant
state of change.

One could only
be as happy
as one moment
could maintain.

Our very expectations
for the pleasure to sustain
and for pain to never rule us
makes us slaves of sense’s realm.

Associate with
our senses –
we assume that
we are them;

We create
un-count abstractions –
we refine
 the Heavens, Hell.

Knowing sensory conditions –
understand them as they are –
we could gain unique perspective,
liberate to just be …us.

Today

Today it’s gonna be
another perfect day
our daily bread we gonna get;

and when we look
into each other eyes –
we will be smiling;

because the universe,
this day
and we

are all in an alignment.

Red Rose

Ruby-red rose
is the key to all doors.
The last door in the snow has no keyhole at all...

Little Star (For L)

The whole universe glowing
expected
for a new star
to be born and to shine.

Savage winds
on the earth congregated
growing quiet
they dreamt about her.

Even the quiet rain
started to whisper
chanting how pretty
the new star will be.

A white bird sang
and  looked up
in the heavens
searching to see the new star.

And then she was born
in the coldest of all mornings
as exactly predicted
by the wise man.

The bird sings no more
the universe's busy;
in the eyes of my beautiful daughter
I see twinkle of the brightest of all little stars.
